I am a painter drawn to the intersection of the feminine and the natural world. My portraits are rarely just faces — they are women adorned with flowers, surrounded by petals, emerging from gardens. I am fascinated by the way nature clings to people: blooms threaded through hair, leaves trailing across skin, the quiet suggestion that we are not so separate from the living world around us. Whether rendered in the fluid washes of watercolor or the layered depth of acrylic, my subjects carry an emotional stillness — present, watchful, unhurried. I paint to capture that particular moment of inward calm that exists just beneath the surface of a face.
I accept portrait commissions in both watercolor and acrylic.
Each commission is discussed personally — please reach out to begin.
